Painter Helper

As a Painter Helper, you will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting valves while maintaining strict adherence to production schedules, quality control, and safety standards. Core Duties: Preparation&Masking: Clean and wipe down valves. Tape all ID tags and levers. Apply socket weld or buttweld covers to valves. Painting&Finishing: Prime valves and allow to dry, followed by the final paint application. Quality Control: Remove all tape and blow off valves to ensure the final product is entirely free of dust and grit. Material Handling: Clean levers and carefully place finished valves onto pallets. Equipment Operation: Operate a blast cabinet for blasting small parts. Operate a forklift as needed for material transport.General Support: Perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by the immediate supervisor. Qualifications&Experience: Sandblasting: Minimum of 5 years of sandblasting experience (Preferred). Key Competencies: Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards. Ability to work efficiently to meet tight production schedules without sacrificing quality. Flexibility to pivot to other workshop tasks as directed by management.
