Description
We're looking for an Intermediate Architectural Designer to join our Buildings&Infrastructure team in Texas. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of impactful projects while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to create thoughtful, sustainable, and innovative environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Support architectural design efforts from concept through construction documentation
Develop drawings, models, and design solutions using Revit and BIM workflows
Assist in preparing presentations, renderings, and client deliverables
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated project outcomes
Participate in design reviews and contribute creative ideas to project teams
Apply knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction methods to design solutions
Support construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals and RFIs
Contribute to maintaining project schedules, quality standards, and documentation consistency
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
3-7 years of professional experience in architectural design
Progress toward architectural licensure (AXP in progress preferred)
Proficiency in Revit required; familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and visualization tools preferred
Working knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction documentation
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and contribute effectively in a team environment
Ideally you'll also have:
Experience in sectors such as commercial, civic, healthcare, science&technology, or higher education
Familiarity with sustainable design practices (LEED Green Associate or interest in accreditation)
Exposure to large or multi-disciplinary project environments
Interest in developing long-term career growth within a global A/E firm
