Secretary Position at Seabrook Village by Erickson Senior Living
Join our team as a Secretary. In this role the Secretary performs secretarial, receptionist, and clerical duties to support the nursing unit and/or assisted care or assisted living facility. This individual may also provide basic secretarial support to QCC. Compensation: $19 - $25 based on experience How You Will Make an Impact: Maintains charts in proper sequence and thins according to policy Obtains all pertinent information and appropriate paperwork for new admissions and prepares new medical charts.Schedules resident appointments in a timely manner Maintains nurses' station, including forms, files, drawers, and cabinets in an orderly fashion Maintains accurate records of residents' appointments and work orders Uses all equipment safely and correctly; reports malfunctioning equipment promptlyResponsible for checking and straightening medical supply closet daily Answers phone promptly, courteously, and takes accurate phone messages Responds to family member questions, relays information from nurses and/or doctors Transports residents to appointments and around building and campus as neededOther duties as assigned What You Will Need: Demonstrated proficiency with current computer software applications required Health Care background / Medical Terminology preferred Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
