ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT MANAGER – CENTRAL NJ

Growing environmental consulting firm in Central New Jersey is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join its remediation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an environmental professional with strong NJDEP regulatory knowledge and hands-on site remediation experience.

Responsibilities:
• Manage environmental remediation projects from investigation through remedial action
• Coordinate groundwater, soil, and vapor intrusion investigations
• Prepare and review remedial phase reports, CEA documentation, and technical reports
• Work closely with LSRPs, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and oversee project execution
• Analyze environmental data and support contaminant fate and transport evaluations
• Ensure compliance with NJDEP rules, regulations, and guidance
• Mentor junior staff and assist with team development

Requirements:
• BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of environmental consulting/remediation experience
• Strong knowledge of NJDEP Site Remediation Program requirements
• Experience with groundwater, soil, and vapor intrusion investigations
• Strong report writing and project management skills
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
• Experience with due diligence and remedial investigations a plus
