DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:· Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples. · Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.· Perform visual inspections of finished and unfinished products. · Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures; including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms. · Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment. · Participate in out-of-specificationand failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.· Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions . · Receive and inspect raw materials. · Investigate or report questionable test results. · Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained. · Identify quality problems and recommend solutions. · Perform other duties as requested by the quality control manager.· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:· Excellent oral and written comprehension. · Great problem-solving abilities. · Knowledge of basic mathematics that include algebra and geometry. · A broad understanding of engineering principles. · Knowledge of using and calibrating measurement tools such as height gages and calipers.· Well versed in ISO: 9000 and AS9100. · Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person)
EDUCATION&EXPERIENCE:· 1-2 years of experience preferred. · Aerospace background is a plus. · Experience with composite and metallic structures is a plus. · Ability to read, speak and write in English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:· Constant
standing/walking/sitting
for at least 8 hours.· Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs, minimum 35 lbs. · Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment. · Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less. Corrective lenses may be worn to fulfill requirement.· Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required. · Constant holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s). · Occasional extending of arms to reach overhead, at shoulder level and below shoulder level.
