Qualifications:

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree.

Licensure: Active Pharmacist license from the State Pharmacy Board.

Experience: 5+ years in pharmacy management, preferably in a hospital or psychiatric environment.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in automated pharmacy software and inventory systems.

Soft Skills: Strong policy development and implementation abilities, Excellent communication for interdisciplinary collaboration, Adaptability to evolving pharmacology trends and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.

Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, Joint Commission standards, and safety protocols.

Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff; optimize automated medication systems.

Develop policies for medication storage, distribution, and infection control.

Maintain accreditation through continuous process improvement.
