About the Role
The Company is in search of a visionary and collaborative leader to take on the role of Dean of the College of Engineering.
The successful candidate will be the chief academic officer for the largest engineering program in the nation, with a focus on driving innovation, strengthening interdisciplinary research, and ensuring the institution remains a leader in engineering education, particularly in the context of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities for the Dean include fostering entrepreneurship, enhancing translational research, and expanding the College's national visibility.
The role also involves securing resources and support for the College's priorities, broadening access for students, and deepening industry partnerships.
The Dean will work closely with a large faculty, staff, and student body, and must be deeply committed to collaboration and the promotion of education and research programs that contribute to the advancement of society.
