/ppThis position is responsible for assisting with the general ledger record keeping and in a timely manner to enable the Finance department to meet reporting deadlines.
/pulliPerform month-end close in accordance with internal close schedule/liliPrepare various accruals and ensure proper timing and classifications of expenses/liliAssist in preparation of financial reports and analyses of period close activities/liliCoordinate and engage in variance review meetings during close periods/liliPartner with FPA and/or operation management to resolve non-reconciling items and other analysis of monthly activities.
/liliMaintain completeness and accuracy of the general ledge accounts on a monthly basis through account reconciliations.
/liliReview and assist in ownership of treasury, billing and accounts payable/liliAssist as needed on projects, such as internal and external audits/liliAssess and analyze areas for process improvements.
/li/ulpWhat Were Looking For (Minimum qualifications)/pulli3+ years of experience in corporate accounting.
/liliCertified Public Accountant or ability to sit or plans to sit for examination in near future/liliProficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Finance systems/liliBig 4 experience or public company experience preferred/liliSoftware industry experience a plus/liliDemonstrate working knowledge of GAAP rules and requirements/liliStrong sense of ownership and accountability/liliDisplay excellent judgment and decision-making skills to work independently/liliHigh level dedication to adhering to deadlines and attention to detail/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to collaborate with people.
/liliHighly organized and a proven ability to work with minimal directions as well ad resourceful and independent in solving problems.
