Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in psychology or closely related field from an accredited institution; at least one semester of experience teaching psychology-related courses and/or serving as a teaching assistant for psychology-related courses. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate one or more of the following qualifications: doctoral degree in psychology or closely related field from an accredited institution; experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level in a psychology program or a closely related field; experience teaching courses, or a history of applied work or academic research, in a field of psychology that encompasses one or more of our department’s areas of academic/research concentration (bio/neuro, psychopathology/clinical, social/diversity, industrial/organizational, cognition/learning, development, and/or stats/research); and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. Our department’s needs assessment indicates a preference for individuals with experience/potential to teach courses in in the areas of neuroscience (e.g., neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience), and/or diversity-related classes (e.g., Psychology of Women&Gender; Prejudice&Discrimination; Psychology of Diversity).
