General Production Worker
$23/hr | Weekly pay
Job Description
This role operates within a dedicated production cell to process rubber components for the automotive industry from raw material through to finished, quality-checked parts. You will handle molding tools, run automated equipment, cool and remove finished parts, and perform detailed visual inspections while maintaining accurate production and quality documentation. The work is straightforward but repetitive, requires consistent attention to detail, and moves at a steady pace with multiple batches in process at the same time.
Responsibilities
Operate production equipment to manufacture rubber automotive parts from raw material to finished product.
Load molding tools with metal rings, run molds, and rotate between multiple tools in process.
Remove, cool, and release molded parts without damage.
Inspect parts for defects and sort according to quality standards.
Count, weigh, and package parts to meet required quantities.
Record production data, including logs, scrap, and machine settings.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Communicate with team members on production and quality issues.
Assist with general production tasks, including inspection, packaging, and basic machine operation.
Skills&Qualifications
Experience in production or manufacturing environments (e.g., production operator or general labor).
Experience in quality inspection, packaging, labeling, assembly, painting, or machine operation.
Familiarity with material handling, inventory, or order picking (manufacturing, retail, or warehouse).
Experience in food production, packaging, or other repetitive, process-driven roles.
Hands-on experience in construction or physically demanding work environments.
Ability to operate industrial equipment and follow detailed instructions and quality standards.
Willingness to learn and grow into advanced roles (e.g., maintenance, shipping, cell support).
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with focus while meeting consistent production goals.

Work Environment

Shifts are structured and do not rotate once assigned, with first shift running Monday through Friday, second shift running Monday through Friday in the afternoon and evening, and third shift running Sunday through Thursday overnight.

The pay range for this position is $23.55 - $23.55/hr.
