Sustaining Scientist Intern

The Sustaining Scientist Intern provides support to all team members within the Engineering and Chemical Production Departments. This internship will assist in production, development and/or validation activities on FDA cleared medical equipment or systems used to produce it. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

As an intern you will have the opportunity to assist with the following: Design / Implementation / Validation of equipment or processes related to the production of medical devices Generate ISO13485 compliant documentation from efforts related to design and validation Assist with product or process risk analysis and controlWork on Production activities (operating equipment, sampling, analysis, etc.) Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Detail Oriented Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and etiquette Technical writing skills preferred Ability to work well in a team or as an individual with little supervision Strong communication skills required Troubleshooting experience desired Good punctuality and attendance Good organization skillsEducation And/Or Experience

Minimum Sophomore college standing working toward a Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field with an emphasis on Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering preferred. Work Environment
