Job Description

This individual is building deep, specialized expertise and is able to engage within technical and business teams.

This role might serve as a SME on a team or lead a small team of technical experts supporting a larger effort, and may consult to business teams.

When successful, this individual may be recognized for leading a particular technical implementation or leveraging sophisticated knowledge to benefit a larger team.

General Skills:

6 8 Years of cybersecurity engineering experience

Mastery of cryptographic protocols used in transactions and storage solutions.

Expertise in securing complex financial systems.

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance specific to financial institutions.

Ability to manage and maintain WAF products.

Design and implement of WAF rule logic and configurations

Advanced knowledge of networking principles and managing route 53.

Ability to manage configurations through IAC

Proven ability to lead security projects and initiatives.

Strong knowledge of API security and tool implementation.

Advanced scripting and automation skills.

BS degree in a computer related field

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain multiple WAF products and API security products

Build and maintain security controls.

Design, deploy, and maintain WAF configurations .

Assist with the education and professional development of team members.

Write technical documentation and walkthroughs.

Additional Information:

Position is hybrid in office 2 days per week. Candidates must live within 50 miles (commutable distance) to OneMain corporate offices including Evansville IN, Baltimore MD, Wilmington DE, Charlotte, NC, and/or Irving TX
