Job Description:
The Sales Coordinator position is responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Omni Hotel & Resorts Corporate strategies and brand standards, all the while meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Sales Coordinator will support the Sales Managers and Director of Sales & Marketing in maximizing sales and achieving pre-determined targets.
Responsibilities:
Schedules work load to meet deadlines of all managers.
Types and distribute all correspondence, including booking notices, letters, contracts, etc. for assigned managers. Ensures that all correspondence is 100% accurate.
Maintains account files and ensures that all information is included in file, i.e. proposals/contracts/turnover documents etc.
Responsible for coordinating general office functions.
Ensures that all managers receive messages in a timely manner. (Messages to include name and phone number of caller, date and time call received).
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Previous Hotel experience preferred
College degree preferred, but not required
Experience working with Microsoft Office
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Ability to work holidays, and some weekends
