Job Title: Lead Java Spark Developer

Location: Irving, TX

Job Description:

We are seeking Lead Java Spark Developer.

In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and Spark.

Job Responsibilities:

You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design.

You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts.

You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

Job Requirements:

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Experience in Hands on software development using Java and Spark.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 8+ years of relevant experience in Application Development role.

At least 4 years of experience in Enterprise Java / J2EE technology.

At least 4 years of experience with BigData and Apache Spark streaming and batch framework is a must.

Work experience in programming Spark SQL, HIVE, Hadoop, Java for Spark

Experience in Microservices.

Experience in Unix Shell scripting.

Experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven Development environment.

Hands On with expectation of actual development, Good Communications.

Some experience with DevOps practices such as Pipelines, CI / CD is preferred.

Knowledge of Domain Driven design is must.

Good Analytical skills.

A high degree of initiative and flexibility. High customer orientation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
