Mongo DB Administrator, Texas

Perform hands-on technical work to install and configure MongoDB in DBaaS platform.

Assist application support for cross-region migrations.

Support migrations in new data center (DC).

Provide extended support needed to migrate traditional MaaS instances.

Identify and support applications team for MongoDB support.

Experience in database schema and table refreshes from prod to non-prod with Datapump/export/import utilities.

Experience in handling database performance issues with diagnostic tools such as AWR, ADDM, ASH, explain plan, wait events, locks, stats collection, SQL profiling, SQL tuning advisory, creation/rebuild indexes if required.

Experience in TDE data encryption.

Experience in Goldengate replication setup/configure.

Supporting major deployment activities by creating flashback restore points and rollback database to restore point in case of issues in deployment.

Configuring server and database monitoring for all servers and databases in OEM.

Experience in database migration with RMAN, Datapump, and XTTS method with minimal downtime.

Experience in UNIX/LINUX shell scripting and programming.

Hands-on experience in working on DR drill activity various times and ensuring that activity is completed perfectly.

Configure backup monitoring, housekeeping s, and documentation as part of migration projects.

Monitoring the logs for any errors/warnings and providing corrective action if required.

Installation of Oracle client in the application server and adding up TNS entries for DB connectivity.
