Instructors update course syllabi, develop lesson plans, develop presentation materials, communicate with faculty lead on subject matter, and evaluate student'sprogress. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop instructional materials to facilitate student learning outcomes for the course. Collect all assessment data related to student learning outcomes. Maintain an equitable system of student evaluation based on sound practices in accordance with the course syllabus. Return all graded assignments in a reasonable time frame according to South College Faculty Expectations. Project an appropriate professional image. Enforce all South College rules and policies. Requirements Education Minimum of a master’s degree in relevant English field (Doctorate preferred) Experience Prior teaching experience preferred in an in-person environment Proficient in the written and oral communication of the English language Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
