Your Role:• Performing complex mechanical building design on a variety of projects to include hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential and high-rise office, and other commercial and institutional projects. • Manage the design of projects involving studies, reports, design, development, project management, and field implementation.• Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software • Assist teams in performing design load calculations, equipment selections and mechanical system design • Providing credit documentation for LEED, and other building rating system design and compliance • Assisting in thepreparation of basis-of-design descriptions, responses to client comments and other project-related documentation.• Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers. • Reviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for Information • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. • Pursue continuous professional development and maintaina high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. • Additional duties as required. Qualifications: • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering • 4-7 years of experience in the HVAC design systems for healthcare and other commercial facilities, have an organized approach to analyzing systems and a thorough understanding of MEP systems.• Proficient with the use of Trace 700, AutoCAD and Revit software. • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) • Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills • Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code and healthcare compliance requirements and industry standards
