Location: Carrollton, TX
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $*****–$*****/hr
Job Description
The Clean Room Assembly Technician is responsible for producing high-quality components by assembling parts and subassemblies in a controlled cleanroom environment.
This role requires the ability to read assembly instructions, interpret blueprints, gather materials, and perform mechanical assembly tasks with accuracy.
The Clean Room Assembly Technician supports production goals, maintains quality standards, and ensures all work complies with safety and cleanroom requirements.
This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
As a Clean Room Assembly Technician , you will use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment while following strict documentation and cleanliness procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform basic mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies
Conduct leak testing as required
Operate hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and parts lists
Communicate effectively with management and team members
Perform standard testing and minor troubleshooting
Ensure quality standards are met throughout all assembly steps
Maintain cleanroom protocols and follow safety procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned
Reliable attendance is required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience in assembly or related work environments
Cable and harness assembly experience is a plus
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform repetitive tasks
Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and bench tools
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Good communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints preferred
Education & Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Technical coursework or AA technical degree preferred
Experience Requirements
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment
Experience with helium leak testing, module testing, or inspection is a plus
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Work performed in a manufacturing and/or cleanroom environment
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (more with assistance)
Visual acuity required for detailed tasks
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Ability to use a ladder
Exposure to noise, chemicals, mechanical parts, and vibrations
PPE required
