Hvac Service Technician, Bohemia, NY

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to perform commercial service, maintenance, and repairs across a territory spanning Manhattan to the Hamptons. This is a field-based, independent role supporting retail, industrial, and other commercial facilities, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality workmanship, and professional customer service.

• Perform commercial HVAC service and preventive maintenance at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Service and maintain rooftop units, boilers, and chillers
• Conduct brazing, pipe welding, and mechanical repairs
• Read blueprints and technical documentation to diagnose issues
• Work independently while managing routes, calls, and documentation
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (approximately once per month)
• Safely operate and maintain a company-provided take-home service van

• 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Experience with RTUs, boilers, and chillers
• Proficiency in brazing and pipe welding
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Current F60 and G60 certifications
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• Own basic HVAC tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience covering large urban and suburban service territories

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bohemia, NY.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Bohemia,NY.
