Randstad is currently partnering with a premier engineering and manufacturing client in Bohemia, NY, to find a skilled and dedicated CNC Machinist to join their growing production team. - Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining and setup.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding G-code/M-code.
- Precision: manual dexterity and experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical trade school certification is a plus.
- Reliability: work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

- Set up and operate CNC machines (Lathes or Mills) to perform complex machining operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary offset adjustments to maintain part integrity.
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and ensuring a safe, organized workspace.
