CNC Machinist, Bohemia, NY

Randstad is currently partnering with a premier engineering and manufacturing client in Bohemia, NY, to find a skilled and dedicated CNC Machinist to join their growing production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leader in high-precision technology in a clean, professional environment.  

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining and setup.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding G-code/M-code.

• Precision: manual dexterity and experience using precision measuring instruments.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical trade school certification is a plus.

• Reliability: work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (Lathes or Mills) to perform complex machining operations.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.

• Monitor machine performance and make necessary offset adjustments to maintain part integrity.

• Perform quality inspections on finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.

• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and ensuring a safe, organized workspace.
