divh2General Warehouse Worker/h2pIMKO Workforce Solutions is currently accepting applications for an upcoming General Warehouse Worker assignment located approximately 30 minutes from Jefferson City, Missouri.
First and second shift available with pay up to $20/hr.
Must be able to pass a 7-year background check.
/ph3Job Description/h3pResponsibilities:/pulliExpedient and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the warehouse/facility.
/liliMoving incoming or outgoing merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
/liliCheck, verify and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise has been received without damage or defect.
/liliIdentify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats.
/liliReplenish pick area and load outgoing merchandise.
/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliKnowledgeable in Data Entry/liliBasic knowledge of simple math concepts.
/liliGood communication skills.
/liliAble to use Radio Frequency Units.
/liliAble to maintain annual certifications.
/liliMust be at least 18 years of age.
/liliHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.
/liliExperience working in either a warehouse or automated distribution center environment preferred.
/liliExperience with Warehouse Management Systems helpful but not required.
/li/ulpWorking Conditions:/pulliMust be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
on a regular basis, and on occasion, up to 85 lbs.
using team lift.
/liliMust be able to walk long distances, including up and down stairs.
/liliMust be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and push on a repetitive basis above and below shoulder level.
/liliMay work up to 12-hour shifts.
/liliExposure to heat and cold, as well as dusty conditions.
