The Role We are seeking a Senior Compliance Consultant with deep expertise in health&welfare benefits to support a national client base. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to employers, brokers, TPAs, and PBMs—helping them interpret and apply evolving federal and state regulations across benefit plans. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex regulations into practical guidance, thrives in a consultative environment, and wants to be part of a team shaping the future of benefits compliance. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted compliance advisor to clients across the U.S. Provide expert guidance on health&welfare benefit regulations Respond to ~12–15 daily compliance inquiries (phone/email) with a 24-hour turnaround Develop and deliver webinars, trainings, and educational seminars Author thought leadership content (bi-weekly articles, resources, tools) Monitor and interpret evolving legislation and regulatory updates Partner cross-functionally to support product development and innovation Act as a subject matter expert internally and mentor junior team members Contribute to process improvements and scalable client solutions Participate in occasional travel (2–3x/year) for client and team engagement Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in employee benefits compliance consulting Strong expertise across IRS, DOL, and CMS regulations Deep knowledge of: ERISA, COBRA, ACA, §125, MHPAEA, HIPAA Ability to translate complex regulatory information into clear, actionable insights Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills Strong analytical mindset and business acumen Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with compliance research tools (e.g., EBIA, Westlaw) JD preferred
