About The Role: Please note this is a contract role (Temp) for Magnit Global's contracts team. The Contracts Department provides a comprehensive contracts management solution for all Magnit clientele. All members of the Contracts team must maintain best-in-class contract standards and provide the highest quality customer service for our clients. The Manager, Global Contracts and Contracts team proactively manage all aspects of our contract processes and lifecycle for client-related contracts. This role requires full contract administration responsibilities, including drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts between Magnit and clients. Acting as a resource to the team for escalations related to billable workers, and independent contractors. This position will also ensure contract templates, RFPs, client implementations, projects, reports, and other departmental functions are accurately maintained and run seamlessly. Additionally, the Manager, Global Contracts will collaborate with management and advise as to the company’s contractual rights and obligations, to solve complex problems, and maintain negotiation and certification records. This role requires giving support needed on negotiations, contractual terms, and obligations, as well as other agreed upon deliverables. The Manager, Global Contracts will maintainthe department and company’s operational performance standards, quality work product in an efficient manner, and departmental initiatives. This role requires analytical and operational support to all business partners within the Magnit team and helping Magnit business thrive. What You Will Do Serve as a key member of the contract review team with an emphasis on ensuring compliance with Magnit established policies, procedures, and tolerances as it relates to client agreements. Analyze contract requirements and determine use of appropriate contract structures. Independently draft and finalizedepartment templates including client, independent contractor, and employee/billable worker agreements for the US and international locations. Ensure adherence to company contract policies and communicate non-conformance or areas of risk to Sr. Management/General Counsel. Provide key support for development and creation of new client contracts and responsible for the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Magnit tolerance and risk levels, for numerous client accounts. Facilitate contract negotiations with clients, billable workers, independent contractors ensuring that compliance isachieved, and consistency of contractual obligations are met. Independently facilitate contract escalations with client and Sr. Management/General Counsel. Responsible for reviewing, modifying, and finalizing all on-boarding/off-boarding documents (i.e., background screening/drug testing release forms, client policies and procedures, etc.). Draft and finalize amendments to the client, independent contractors, employees/billable workers, and suppliers, as needed Collaborate with internal business partners including Sales, Legal, International Services, Client Services, and Implementation teamsto meet customer deadlines. Provide support and feedback for the development and implementation of department processes and procedures. Assist with mentoring junior staff and departmental training including but not limited to the contract process, complex legal issues, and international contracts.Provide ongoing support to the department/company including but not limited to leading special projects, reporting, distribution of contract templates to sales, SOP updates, etc. Update departmental client reports, as needed. Collaborate with the management team to support the development and implementation of the operational infrastructure designed to accommodate the business’ growth objectives. Deliver superior quality results with a continuous view of strategic objectives. Continually meet contractual service levels and maintain compliance with other contractual requirements. Individual responsibilities may vary and/or be reassigned depending on day-to-day payroll operations and future client needs. Final peer review for contracts and amendments, as needed. What You Will Need 3 – 5 years of contracts management experience. Must have good negotiation and organizational skills. Proactive, solution oriented, and able to identify and execute process improvement initiatives. Must be able to accurately proofread, with a detailed eye, for grammatical and formatting errors. Demonstrated ability to create documents appropriate to all levels of staff and audiences and to write legal terms in plain English. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple deadline projects while producing quality product within departmental and organization's quality standards and strict deadlines. Demonstrated ability to use excellent analytical skills on complex projects, by identifying keybusiness issues and development of appropriate action plans. Ability to work well with others, both internally and externally, and at different levels of management. Must be detail oriented, a critical thinker, and a good problem solver. Consistently exhibits friendly, positive, and professional customer service, both internally and externally. Strong multi-tasking and time management/project management skills are critical. Demonstrated ability to proactively and professionally collaborate effectively and efficiently with all levels of personnel, both internally and externally. Exhibits excellent judgment in communication with regard to timing, circumstances, and audience. Demonstrated ability to adhere to organizational and departmental standards and policies. Good data entry skills (alpha&numeric) with accuracy. Must have a working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Internet, fax, copier, phones, and other office equipment needed for the position function. Works well with others and is team oriented. Must be dependable and reliable. Very good attendance and punctuality required. Preferred Qualifications Familiar with local, state, national, and international contract laws to ensure compliance with any relevant laws and to avoid legal complications due to non-compliance. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or Juris Doctor (J.D.). Demonstrated proficiency in Word and Excel. Experience in the staffing industry. Experience with international contracts. Payr Rate is between $45HR - $53HR based on experience, education and geo location in the US. .
