Production Worker
Our client, the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Worker to join their team. As a Production Worker, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting assembly and quality control teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Jackson, MS Pay Range: $15 per hour Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday What's the Job? Assemble various millwork products such as exterior and interior door units by reading and interpreting job tickets and blueprints. Operate woodworking machinery including chop saws, table saws, routers, and pneumatic tools to machine and modify products.Prepare completed products for shipment by applying casing, sleeves, stickers, and labels as needed. Inspect the quality and accuracy of the product throughout each stage of the assembly process. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning, oiling, calibrating machines, and reporting malfunctions to supervisors.What's Needed? No prior experience required; training will be provided. Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and job tickets. Willingness to learn and cross-train across various workstations and tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
