Previous experience in scheduling and problem-solving is ideal. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge. In addition, you will: Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit by using appropriate hand toolsEnsure proper materials are loaded using pallets, trays, racks, and shelves when needed Convey materials from storage or work sites to the designated area using a hand truck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, or other devices, and may occasionally operate an industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and productsEnsure all identifying tags or labels are properly attached to materials, or all identifying marks are properly used to identify information on cases, bales, or other containers Properly maintain records as required by management in the appropriate warehouse information system Receive incoming inventory and supply items, log into the company warehouse system, and stock inventory in the proper locationRead work orders, shipping orders, and follow verbal instructions Fill customer invoices, check part numbers, clean, and pack inventory items Inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage Notify Warehouse Manager of problems Follow all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipmentTrack all inventory in the appropriate system Organize and clean warehouse space and company equipment as needed Report any customer problems or concerns immediately Coach fellow associates on warehouse operational practices and procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when neededEnforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations Evaluate current processes and procedures, and recommend changes to warehouse management Contribute ideas on ways to reduce warehouse costs per unit and increase productivity Maintain working knowledge of warehouse data systems and perform various tasks within the systemDeliver supplies and equipment in a timely fashion while observing all Regulated DOT and OSHA standards Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day-to-day. You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality. You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work. You are looking for long-term projects. You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Possess a basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology. You have a thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. Possess good analytical skills and the ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.Compensation of $19-$26 per hour.
