Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Temp-to-Hire Technician with expertise in maintenance, electrical work, and carpentry. Welding and HVAC knowledge is a plus. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong customer service background and proficiency in using technology. The selected candidate will start as a temporary employee, gaining hands-on experience with our product and position requirements at the branch before transitioning into a full-time Field Service Technician role. This position is with a leading modular building/container company.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding, electrical, and carpentry tasks on container offices and storage units.

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring all units meet quality and safety standards.

Provide excellent customer service and effectively communicate with clients regarding service requests.

Utilize technology for work orders, documentation, and communication.

Upon full-time transition, conduct field service calls to repair rented containers and container offices at various locations.

Maintain company service vehicles and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.

Requirements:

Experience in welding, electrical work, and carpentry; HVAC experience is a plus.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.

Proficiency with technology, including work order systems and mobile devices.

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (required for full-time hire).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
