Trailer Setup Manager

This position will oversee and manage the job tasks for the setup of trailers to be loaded outbound and inbound with freight at the customer. Essential Job Functions

Monitor warehouse management system Operating personnel scooter or golf cart Setting dock locks Opening dock doors (electrical, and chain driven) Setting dock plates Sweeping trailers, verify complete, safety and security checks Immediately report issues observed with trailers during unload (holes in ceiling or at joints protruding nail head catching strapping, off aroma or evidence of pests)Remove excess debris (verify clean) Building of portable bulkhead and proper placing Filing tasks in warehouse management system Applying stretch wrap material if needed Verify equipment numbers. Verify load and seal numbers and escalating discrepancies Inflating airbags (fillers) Installing Kick Stops or other pallet securement devicesValidated proper positioning of dunnage in trailer Cut plastic wrapped pallets of glass/aluminum bottles Safely operate a golf cart around commercial trucks within lot Place and remove jack stands, wheel chocks, and gladhand locks Securely open and close trailer doors (rollup, and swing) We know benefits are critical and we are committed to offering comprehensive and affordable options for you and your loved ones.
