Job Title: General Laborer– Precast Concrete Facility Job Description This role involves performing a wide range of hands-on tasks in a precast concrete facility, including forming, pouring, and finishing concrete products. You will use hand and power tools, read and interpret tape measurements, work with rebar, and helpmaintain a clean and safe production area. The position requires comfort working outdoors in an open-bay environment and the ability to perform physically demanding work on a daily basis.Shift&Pay: 6am-5pm $17.50/hr Responsibilities Work in a precast concrete facility to support daily production operations. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. Read and accurately interpret tape measurements to cut materials to specification. Cut, tie, and place rebar according to project and formwork requirements.Assist in forming concrete structures using appropriate formwork and materials. Pour concrete into forms, ensuring proper placement, consolidation, and finish quality. Grease and prepare forms prior to concrete pours to support efficient production and clean releases. Perform basic finishing work on concrete products as needed.Apply paint or coatings to forms or products as directed. Clean and maintain the precast production area, including tools, equipment, and workspaces. Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment while working in an open bay and outdoor environment. Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Work flexible hours and stay until the work is finished for the day, including occasional mandatory weekend work when required. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience working outdoors in a labor position such as construction, landscaping, concrete, or framing. At least 1 year of experience working with and reading a tape measure in a job setting.At least 1 year of experience using hand and power tools in a professional environment. Experience in concrete, precast, or precast concrete production. Ability to perform basic concrete finishing tasks. Experience with carpentry, formwork, or rebar work in a construction or production setting.Ability to work comfortably outdoors and in an open bay environment in various weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. Reliability and flexibility to work varying start and end times and stay until work is completed.Comfort working in a setting where getting dirty and handling heavy materials is part of the daily job. Additional Skills&Qualifications Previous concrete or precast experience in a production or construction environment. Experience in landscaping, construction, or other outdoor work that required regular use of hand and power tools. Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment with structured processes and schedules.Familiarity with rebar cutting, tying, and placement.
