Kelley Kronenberg is hiring for a Legal Assistant to join our General Liability team in Jacksonville! This department is fast-paced, technology savvy, and team-oriented. If you are interested in joining a growing team and have a background in defense litigation, this may be the job for you!Essential Functions: Preparation of pleadings including, but not limited to, motions, subpoenas, notices, hearings, and requests for production Coordination/scheduling of meetings, hearings, appointments, and depositions Managing deadlines, preparing attorneys for appointments Drafting and composing typing routine correspondence, reading and routing of incoming mail, taking calls from clients, attorneys, adjusters, J.A.'s, opposing counsel, etc.Excellent secretarial and clerical skills (telephone&computer) required. Qualifications: 1+ years of related experience and/or training in litigation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
