Job Position: Litho Stacker

Location: Homerville, GA 31634

Pay Rate: $15.60/hr

Shift: Rotating 7 to 7

Description: A Litho Stacker is responsible for assisting in the stacking and packaging of lithographed (printed) packaging products at the end of a production line.

Essential job functions Production support: Safely and efficiently remove metalsheets from the production conveyor as they exit the lithography (printing) process. Stacking and sorting: Manually or with an automated system, stack finished products onto pallets or into racks according to job specifications.Quality control: Inspect products during stacking for any print defects, misalignment, or damage, and report any issues to the Production Lead or Supervisor. Packaging and labeling: Securely band or shrink-wrap finished pallets for storage or shipment. Attach proper labels or identifying tags to ensure accurate tracking.Material handling: Use a forklift or other moving equipment to transport finished pallets to the designated warehouse area. Maintain safe forklift operation, if certified. Maintain a clean and safe workspace: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping practices in and around the assigned work area.Teamwork: Assist other production teammates during production changeovers or as needed.

Qualifications and requirements Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production standards within the required time. Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions and follow all company policies and procedures.Ability to work well in a team environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for a 12 hour shift. This includes being able to walk up and down 2 or 3 steps. Must be able to lift on a regular basis - bend, squat and twist from side to side.Must be able to learn how to operate the machine. Will start as a stacker and work up. This is a hot, non-climate controlled environment. Must be able to work a 7am-7pm/7pm-7am rotating shift on a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on schedule.
