THE ROLE As a Part-Time Youth Mentor , you’ll play a key role in our youth services program, supporting youth with disabilities in achieving their personal goals. Every day will be different, making this a fun and fulfilling opportunity forthose passionate about making a positive impact. SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION Hourly Rate: $16.35/hour Hours: 10-20 hours per week (After-School Program: September through May) 2PM-7PM 20-40 hours per week (Summer Program: June through August) 7AM-4PM Flexibility: Scheduling tailored to your availability WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide support to youth participants with disabilities. Assist during after-school hours (2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) and adjust to summer schedules (7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.). Work collaboratively with the Aptiv team to help youth develop independence, social, and life skills. Mentor participants one-on-one and in small group settings. Teach emotional regulation, coping, and anger management strategies. Maintain consistency, strong communication, and accurate, up-to-date documentation. QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18 years or older. High School Diploma Possess a valid driver’s licenseand have access to reliable transportation. Meet the State of Wisconsin’s minimum auto insurance requirements.
