RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Monitor and maintain network connectivity across corporate, distribution, and retail locations while troubleshooting outages and performance issues
Implement proactive monitoring schedules and respond to network/connectivity tickets according to internal SLAs
Collaborate with security and IT teams to apply patches, monitor firewalls, and audit network configurations for vulnerabilities
Document network devices, configurations, topologies, and maintain comprehensive asset inventory
Support day-to-day end user technical issues as an active member of the IT support team
Assist with planning network upgrades, hardware replacements, and configuration improvements
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Associate degree in a technical field such as infrastructure or networking
1-2 years of professional experience in network analyst, administrator, or support roles
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and maintaining network infrastructure including access points, switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco Meraki experience is a plus)
CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar certifications preferred
Available to work on-site daily in the Southern Wisconsin area
