Machine Operator Helper
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating and adjusting CNC mills and lathes, specifically Haas machines, to perform a variety of machining operations. These operations include drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, turning, and boring over various surfaces, diameters, and depths where programs are already proven and setups are completed by others. The operator will also inspect products using various gauges such as micrometers, bore gauges, and thread gauges, and manage computer input and output data.Responsibilities Operate and adjust CNC mills and lathes to perform standard machining sequences. Inspect products using micrometers, bore gauges, and thread gauges. Enter and read input and output numbers on a computer system. Lift up to 5 pounds of metal in and out of the machine. Essential SkillsExperience with calipers and micrometers. Proficiency in machine operation, specifically Haas machines. At least 6 months of machine operating experience. Knowledge of CNC, CNC lathe, and CNC mill operations. Additional Skills&Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of machining experience with brake press, laser, punch press, turret, or any machine in a manufacturing setting. Experience in quality inspection using micrometers and calipers. Why Work Here?
