Job Description:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead our development team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in software engineering, with expertise in managing teams and driving successful software projects.

As the Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of software applications, while ensuring the team's adherence to best practices and the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities:

 

Manage and lead a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure successful project delivery.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our software products and technology stack.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Design, develop, and implement software applications using core technologies including Kafka, Java, Spring Boot, Python, and AI/ML technologies.

Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards throughout the SDLC.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements in software engineering.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a software engineer with a minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in software development.

Strong proficiency in Kafka, Java, Spring Boot, Python, and cloud technologies.

Sound understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience in driving successful software projects from conception to deployment.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Experience in managing and leading software development teams.

Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and microservices architectures

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
