Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong Linux administration skills

Experience with enterprise-level network troubleshooting

Exposure to Python for operations and Python/Ansible for engineering tasks

Background in clustering, disaster recovery, and high availability systems

Technical project management experience (minimum of 3 years)

Strong understanding of networks, storage, hardware, and data center operations

Experience supporting large enterprises

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

System Administrator background

Scrum experience

Proficiency in presentation, reporting, and software tools such as Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint

Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including physical and virtual server hosting, storage, network, and middleware

Familiarity with Jira software

Background in cloud, virtualization, and bare metal environments

Understanding of technical concepts like DNS, Active Directory, NAS, Firewall, Proxy, and SMTP

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Manage projects related to infrastructure provisioning, security, data center migrations, and End of Life Programs

Lead meetings and communicate technical details related to projects

Analyze and communicate capacity management tasks

Coordinate Linux virtual and physical builds, upgrades, patching, and support

Work with System Administrator teams to ensure server standards are met

Communicate standards and best practices to various lines of business
