Overview:
Customer Service & Support is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in service applications and engineering design to fill the position of Project Engineer. The candidate will be primarily responsible for providing layouts, cost estimates, and providing design and execution recommendations to the team as required. This position requires 2+ years of MHE field experience and a minimum of 3 years of engineering design.
Responsibilities:
Review customer drawings/information to formulate solution.
Design system, or specific area of system, as required to provide a solution that meets customer requirements in throughput and performance.
Provide specifications and pricing for equipment as needed.
Field site visits as needed with customers to review requirements for system application.
Document all communication for future reference.
Provide design layouts and drafting in AutoCad as needed.
Select and specify equipment and materials as needed.
Provide equipment and labor cost summaries to sales.
Assist in the development of engineering standards and practices.
Assist other department employees as needed.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
Requirements
Minimum: Technical degree required in an engineering field.
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
Experience with AutoCad.
Experience with Microsoft office tools.
2+ years of field experience
Travel 15% of the time
