Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support manufacturing and repair shop operations by ensuring products meet quality standards and specification requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control within a manufacturing or machining environment and possess strong inspection and measurement skills .

 

Job Description

  • Perform inspections of manufactured and repaired components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.
  • Support manufacturing and repair operations by identifying non-conforming materials or components.
  • Apply knowledge of Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) inspection methods as required.
  • Maintain adherence to all safety procedures and company quality standards.
  • Work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Utilize computer systems and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

 

Skills Required

  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Minimum of 2 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing or repair shop environment preferred.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing and machining industries preferred.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) inspection methods; Level II qualification preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Experience using inspection tools including: Calipers, Micrometers, Dimensional measurement devices
  • Ability to accurately perform dimensional checks and record inspection data.
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds from floor to waist.
  • Carry up to 15 pounds single-handedly.
  • Carry up to 50 pounds using both hands.
  • Walk on various terrain as required.
  • Maintain adequate depth perception and color vision for inspection activities.
  • Operate motor vehicles with a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with precision measurement equipment and inspection procedures.
  • Ability to identify quality issues and communicate findings effectively.
  • Experience working within manufacturing quality systems and compliance standards.

 

Education

  • Req uired: Highschool diploma or GED

 

Additional requirements

  • Schedule notes: M-F 10-12hr shift

 

Pay rate

  • $27 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
