Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Current Kansas State Teaching License Responsibilities:

Assign, grade, and provide feedback on assignments, class work, homework, and tests. Attend in-service trainings and meetings. Facilitate active learning by assigning and preparing classroom curriculum. Implement strategies to encourage, instruct, and monitor to optimize student learning. Maintain comprehensive and precise record of student progress and required documentation.Positively correct inconducive behavior in accordance with district procedures and rules. Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence. Keeping students safe physically, emotionally, and mentally while they attend school. Communicating with parents and other staff members regularly, including writing progress reports and holding parent/teacher conferences when necessary/scheduled.Abiding by the State and District rules and regulations.
