Job Description Duties

Major duties include: Using hand and light power tools such as shovels, pulaskis, picks, digging bars, rakes, lawn edging equipment, electric drills, etc. Receiving and completing oral work assignments. Lifting and moving heavy objects or materials weighing over 50 pounds that do not require special handling such as carrying garbage cans, loading trash trucks, and lifting and moving heavy furniture for sustained periods of time.Maintaining general cleanliness of grounds, mowing, raking, edging, and watering lawns, trimming trees and shrubbery, removing weeds and debris from flower beds and other landscape features, picking up litter from grounds and roadsides, cleaning fire pits. Observing all safety requirements when using custodial, hand tools, and power tools, including personal protective equipment.This is an open continuous vacancy announcement.
