About the Role

A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Electrician to support industrial maintenance and electrical work on manufacturing equipment. This role involves working with high-voltage electrical systems, PLCs, CNC machines, frequency drives, and safety circuits. Candidates must have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and be skilled in troubleshooting electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment (not facility maintenance).

Work with high-voltage (480V, 120V, 24V DC) circuits and industrial electrical systems.

Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred), CNC machines, frequency drives, motors, relays, and safety circuits.

Adjust and navigate Program Frequency Drives settings.

Work with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines (preferred).

Diagnose and repair proximity switches, light screens, safety circuits, cables, and communication systems.

Follow safety and compliance standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Required Qualifications

Journeyman Electricians card OR 7+ years of direct industrial electrician experience.

Experience in a manufacturing environment (not facilities maintenance).

Strong background in industrial maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.

Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and the ability to navigate frequency drive parameters.

Familiarity with CNC machinery (Fanuc and Siemens controllers preferred).

Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot control systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Automotive industry experience.

Strong troubleshooting skills in either CNC or PLC systems.

Additional Information

Shifts:New hires typically start on 2nd (2 PM 10 PM) or 3rd shift (10 PM 6 AM).

Overtime Requirements:Mandatory overtime 2-3 Saturdays per month (posted weekly).

Overtime Pay: 1.5x for over 40 hours and Saturdays, 2x for Sundays/holidays.
