Overview: Job Summary

General Labor workers support daily operations in lumber and building materials distribution centers. The role involves handling materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safe, efficient loading and unloading of products. The hours for this position is 6:00am-3:00pm Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks with lumber and building materials Move products around the warehouse by hand Pull and stage orders for delivery or customer pickup Band, stack, and organize wood products safely Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage Maintain a clean and organized work environmentFollow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment

Skills and Experience: Requirements

High school diploma or GED (preferred but not always required) Ability to lift heavy materials (often 50–100 lbs) Comfortable working in indoor/outdoor warehouse environments Basic math and reading skills for order picking Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable attendance and punctualityPhysical Demands

Frequent lifting, bending, and standing Exposure to weather conditions (heat, cold, dust) Working around heavy equipment and machinery Work Environment
