Senior Hardware R&D Engineer

to join our innovative design team, specializing in

medical device

and other

advanced technology development . This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in electromechanical systems testing within regulated industries. We’re seeking an individual who enjoys solving tough technical problems and also getting hands-on with the work. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing rigorous, evidence-based test strategies to ensure the safety, performance and compliance of systems. Check out this position at Engenious! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the testing

of complex electronic and mechanical systems and subsystems Collaborate closely with the design team

to plan and direct hardware testing; ad-hoc engineering through formal verification and validation Contribute to requirements

development and review with a focus on testability Write and review test protocols

based on written requirements Provide

mentorship

for test planning and execution, sharing knowledge of industry best practices for test techniques and methods Review the design

of fixtures for test and manufacturing Provide

sophisticated data analysis

to effectively communicate test results to a wide audience of stakeholders Conduct

test method validations

when needed to ensure a high degree of quality Provide critical design feedback

to the project team based on insights gleaned through testing. Assist with root cause

analysis of anomalies

discovered during testing Efficiently organize tasks and priorities.
