Tax Associate Attorney (Junior To Midlevel) - Miami

Job Description Job Description Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking an International Tax Associate to join its Miami office.
About the Role This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with at least 2 years of experience in international private client tax matters .
The associate will work on sophisticated cross-border tax and estate planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and international clients.
Responsibilities Advise clients on: U.S. cross-border income tax and estate planning
Expatriation matters
Pre-immigration tax planning
Inbound and outbound tax planning
International private client tax issues
Conduct legal research and draft tax planning memoranda and related documents
Manage complex client matters in a fast-paced environment
Work closely with attorneys and clients on international tax strategies and compliance matters
Qualifications Minimum 2 years of international tax experience focused on private client matters
LL.M.
in Taxation required
Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Previous law firm experience preferred
Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a demanding workload
Must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission
