A well-established insurance defense firm in the heart of Brickell is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Insurance Defense Paralegal to join its growing team. If you thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment, love being the backbone of a trial team, and want to work somewhere that actually invests in its people (and yes— has the best espresso machine in the city), keep reading.What You'll Do Support attorneys through every phase of insurance defense litigation, from intake through trial Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and trial documents Manage case files, deadlines, and court calendars with precision Summarize medical records, depositions, and key case documentsCoordinate with clients, experts, court reporters, and opposing counsel E-file in state and federal courts across Florida Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials Keep cases moving— anticipate what attorneys need before they ask What We're Looking For 10+ years of paralegal experience in insurance defense or civil litigationStrong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and e-filing systems Experience with case management software (Clio, Filevine, ProLaw, or similar) Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills Ability to juggle multiple cases and deadlines without losing the thread Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plusParalegal certificate or relevant degree preferred Why This Opportunity Top-of-market compensation
