Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Fill materials and products into hoppers using hand tools and approved moving devices safely efficiently
  • Keep material feeders and color mix barrels full to support continuous production operations safely consistently
  • Place materials inside mixers to be blended according to instructions and required specifications safely accurately
  • Perform general cleanup tasks to keep work areas clean and free of debris safely orderly
  • Remove all obstructions using proper safety equipment while maintaining a clear working environment safely consistently
  • Maintain and change rolls of fiberglass tape as required during assigned production tasks safely efficiently
  • Operate pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts while maintaining assigned equipment working condition safely properly consistently

Skills:
  • Ability to inspect materials and finished products for defects and specification conformance consistently accurately reliably
  • Proficiency operating pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts while maintaining equipment functionality and safety standards consistently
  • Capability to follow written and oral instructions to complete daily tasks effectively safely accurately independently
  • Skill in performing repetitive, continuous work while standing and maintaining focus throughout shifts safely consistently
  • Competence in maintaining clean work areas through regular cleanup and debris removal practices safely consistently
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English within loud manufacturing environments and team settings effectively consistently
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, bend, reach, and perform tasks requiring coordination safely repeatedly efficiently

Education/Experience:
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age to meet minimum employment eligibility requirements standards
  • High school diploma or GED required to qualify for the Material Technician position role eligibility
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English within the workplace environment verbally consistently professionally
  • Prior forklift and manufacturing experience preferred, supporting safe and efficient material handling operations practices consistently
  • Ability to read paper instructions and labeling requirements accurately during daily job tasks safely independently
  • Must be able to work twelve-hour rotating shifts, including overtime as business needs dictate regularly
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive work, stand constantly, and lift up to fifty pounds frequently
