Our new client operates two large-scale advanced manufacturing facilities in Central Texas. These sites support 24/7 production of highly specialized technology components used across multiple industries. The campuses include clean-room environments, engineering labs, and high-volume production lines that require a diverse, skilled workforce.

 

Job Summary

We are seeking Analysis Engineering Technician to join our team. You are responsible for performing technician functions associated with in-lab operations. This role collaborates with engineering to support manufacturing through destructive wafer analysis, structure and failure analysis, and level-appropriate equipment maintenance. The position employs sophisticated instrumentation for fault isolation and root cause analysis and requires strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

 

Job Description

  • Scope: Complete routine assignments and projects under detailed instruction; manipulate various software applications and optimize analysis equipment; demonstrate problem-solving related to operations and maintenance; and maintain ownership of individual performance related to department KPIs.
  • Complexity: Adapt to varying processes and priorities; perform multidimensional tasks independently or within a team; and consistently perform sample preparation specific to the job function.

 

Skills Required

  • Experience: Less than three years in the semiconductor field preferred.
  • Skills: SEM Operation, Chemical/Dry Etch Sample Delayering, pFIB/FIB Operation, and Equipment Maintenance.
  • Key Attributes: Safety and quality conscious; ability to work with chemicals in a wet lab environment; high attention to detail and hand-eye coordination; and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Samsung software applications.

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Two years or less of college or technical school preferred.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM - Wed, Thurs, Fri (Sat)
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

 

Pay rate

  • $27-32 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
