Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant

Ballad Health Cancer Care Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide services for their Hereditary and High-Risk Cancer Clinic located in Kingsport, Tennessee. This provider will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and managing patients at increased genetic risk for cancer. The ideal candidate has specialized training in cancer genetics, with preference given to those who have completed certification through the City of Hope Cancer Genetics Education Program.Our team's expertise and services help detect cancer in its early, most treatable stage so that our oncologists can deliver the highest level of care and support throughout your journey. The clinic is conveniently located adjacent to Indian Path Community Hospital in the Ballad Cancer Care Center.Key Responsibilities: Conduct personal/family cancer risk assessments Order and interpret genetic testing Develop screening and risk-reduction plans Provide patient education on hereditary cancer syndromes Qualifications: Licensed NP or PA with board certification 2+ years of clinical experience (oncology, primary care, or women's health preferred)Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills Preferred: Completion of the City of Hope Cancer Genetics Education Program Experience in cancer genetics, oncology, or high-risk patient populations Familiarity with hereditary cancer syndromes (e.g., BRCA-related, Lynch syndrome) Experience with genetic testing platforms and risk models (e.g. Tyrer-Cuzick, BOADICEA)Opportunity Details: Competitive salary Full benefits CME allowance No weekends/no call State TN
