Quality Assurance/Control Inspections Material Testing (WABO Certification Required) Review approved construction drawings and specifications Communicate with contractor workers, foremen, superintendents, project managers, building inspectors and report findings Write concise inspection reports using specific language pertaining to contract documents, approved drawings, and any applicable codeCommunicate with AAR office to report inspection observations, scheduling and sample pick up coordination Supervise and train junior inspectors and testing technicians Perform observations and inspections mainly related to
Concrete/Steel/Civil Inspection and verification of materials for compliance to the plans and specifications Ensure work is performed in accordance with the Contract, Specifications, and RFC plans Accurately complete quality records relating to material testing, hold-point inspections, and material receivingInitiate non-conformance processes when materials, products, tools, equipment or Work do not meet the required specifications Review of contract documents Study project specifications to determine appropriate construction methods and procedures Ensure that contractors comply with specificationsThe ability to obtain certifications to perform in-field material testing Other duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications
(Preferred but not limited to) Previous experience in a project quality role (Preferred but not limited to) Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or Three (3) years’ relevant work experience plus a technical or Associate’s degree, or five (5) years of relevant inspection experience WABO certificationExcellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) Valid driver’s license Energetic, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage a multi-task workload
Additional Information
Salary Range:
$30-55/hour, depending on qualifications Benefits Free Medical, Dental, and Vision for employees.
