Security Supervisor
The Outlets at San Clemente is a premier outlet shopping center that is easily accessible from the i-5 freeway off Avenida Vista Hermosa.
The beautiful ocean views provide a gorgeous backdrop to the various events held at the Outlets.
We are currently hiring a Security Supervisor who will take initiative and ensure a safe and positive shopping experience for our employees and shoppers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Report directly to the Security Manager and assist in the day-to-day supervision and coordination of security operations.
Maintain a working knowledge of all current security operations, site-specific policies, and emergency procedures.
Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to security staff; ensure proper conduct and professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the property, including checking post orders and ensuring coverage at all assigned posts.
Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies; provide leadership and decision-making in crisis situations.
Act as a liaison between site management, employees, visitors, and external agencies when necessary.
Maintain strong working relationships with store managers, tenants, and other stakeholders within the center.
Prepare detailed incident reports and review reports submitted by officers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
Collaborate with other departments and management teams to support security initiatives and operational needs.
Display exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
Perform special assignments or additional duties as directed by the Security Manager or General Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field is a plus.
Minimum of 24 years of experience in security, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
Strong understanding of security operations, risk management, and emergency response procedures.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Valid Guard Card per state requirements.
