Production Supervisor, Louisiana

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

Our client is seeking a dedicated leader to oversee and optimize production operations. This role requires a proactive approach to managing production personnel and ensuring all processes meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Provide guidance and direction to staff on manufacturing techniques, safety protocols, and company policies.

Monitor and report on production and quality metrics, addressing any deviations from standards.

Enforce safety procedures, including PPE use, lockout/tagout, and job safety analysis.

Investigate substandard activities and implement corrective action plans.

Participate in production and scheduling meetings to set and achieve operational goals.

Manage necessary documentation, including work orders and safety analyses.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Perform additional tasks and projects to support plant operations.

Working Conditions:

Engage directly with machinery in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift objects up to 50 pounds as required.

Frequent movement, including climbing stairs, is necessary.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Familiarity with OSHA standards, particularly in metal stamping and mechanical power presses.

Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Proficiency with Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
